Review in Inbox

This page describes the request review modal shown from Inbox.

What the modal shows

Every request review modal starts with:

  • the action title
  • the current status
  • the risk label

  • the decision path
  • the last updated time

Core fields in the modal

The title is the main action label shown at the top of the modal.

Examples:

  • Delete file

Status

The status pill shows the current state of the request:

  • pending
  • approved
  • executed
  • denied
  • rejected
  • expired

Risk label

The risk label gives a fast visual sense of how sensitive the action is.

Context line

The context line is the short summary under the title area.

Examples:

  • production deployment
  • destructive file operation

Decision path

The decision path explains how the request is being handled.

Examples:

  • policy decided
  • signer review required
  • request bridged for review

Updated

The updated field shows the latest meaningful activity time for the request.

What changes by request state

pending

For a pending request, the modal shows:

  • Approve
  • Deny

approved or executed

For approved or executed requests, the action buttons are replaced with a read-only state.

denied or rejected

For denied or rejected requests, the modal becomes read-only.

expired

For expired requests, the modal becomes read-only and explains that the request is no longer awaiting review.

Decision source

If a decision source detail is available, the modal shows a separate Decision source section.

Examples:

  • matched policy requirement
  • direct policy denial
  • approval mode routing

Request lifecycle

If lifecycle detail is available, the modal can expand into a Request lifecycle section.

That section can show:
